WNBA Has Some Beautiful And Exciting Players For 2024
This year’s Rookie draft class in the WNBA has had its ups and downs as well as a full season of drama even though we are 10 games in. From Caitlyn Clark to Angel Reese whether good or bad, these ladies have kept fans talking and put eyes on the sport like never before.
WNBA Rookies Are Making Noise
According to Usatoday.com, the 2024 WNBA rookie class was one of the most anticipated in history. Let’s start at pick one, Caitlyn Clark. She is by far the most polarizing player the WNBA has ever had. Averaging 15 points five rebounds and six assists she has had a decent rookie season.
But she also leads the WNBA in turnovers with six per game and technical fouls at three. Her key stat is her game’s average attendance of 17,500 has never been seen before. Millions are watching whether she thrives or fails. She has been beat up in every game but she gets up and keeps on going.
WNBA Rookies Line Up According To Their Draft Number
The number two pick, Cameron Brink with Averages of eight points and five rebounds is having a good start as she holds down the interior by blocking and altering shots. At 6’4″ she blocks almost three shots per game. Number three pick Kamilla Cardosa although started the year injured, in her 1st game she had 11 points and six rebounds and only played limited minutes.

The last player I want to touch on is the number seven pick, Angel Reese. She is the second most polarizing person in this draft this year and probably ever. As of now, she is averaging 11 points and nine rebounds. Her game is not loud or flashy, and she really has NO “bag” or moves in the post. she’s not gathering attention because of her game.
She gets her attention because of her charisma, attitude, and Arrogance. People follow her because she speaks her mind and causes drama. But she does rebound that ball! Her rivalry with Clark goes back to college and for the next few years, those two players will forever be tied to each other. So far Caitlyn leads the professional series one-zero. It’s hard to say who the rookie of the year will be this early, but it should be exciting to watch them compete all year!
