Fourth of July in Las Vegas. Where are you going to watch the fireworks?
As of now, it’s going to be about 111 degrees in Las Vegas on the Fourth of July. So you’ll have to powder up the soft parts, of course, if you’re going to be outside.
If you actually choose to be outside to take in the “ooooh’s” and “aaaah’s” of the fireworks in Las Vegas, there are several places to watch them. Here is a short list that might help you decide where to take it all in.
Fireworks At The Las Vegas Ballpark
Fireworks will follow the Aviators and Oklahoma City games on July 2 And 3. The fireworks will start right after the games, and it’s a lot fun to take in at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway will do its annual “Night of Fire.” NASCAR racing starts at 5 p.m., and fireworks will follow. Admission is $15. Children 12 and under are free.
Station Casino Properties Will Light Up The Las Vegas Skies Once Again
Most of Station Casino properties will be dazzling the sky, as they always do. Red Rock Resort, Green Vally Ranch, and the first Durango Casino fireworks will light up the Las Vegas skies, along with music from live DJ’s.
Red Rock festivities will be at the Sandbar Pool. Green Valley guests can view from the resort’s backyard, and Durango guests can watch from the Bel-Aire Backyard lawn. The shows all begin at 9 p.m. Admission is $35. Children under 12, $10. Admission includes light-up necklaces to make it all the more festive.
The Plaza Hotel & Casino Is The Only Downtown Las Vegas Fireworks Show
The Plaza Hotel & Casino show is said to be the largest they have ever done. The downtown sky will light up at 9p.m. Hotel guests aged 21 and over can watch from the Plaza’s rooftop pool deck. Main Street will be closed to all vehicles from Carson to Odgen from 8:45 p.m. to 9:10 p.m.
The M Resort will host their Fourth of July fireworks in partnership with the City of Henderson. They will do a 15-minute firework display choreographed to music, beginning at 9 p.m. Public viewing is free, but if you want to watch up close, you can watch at the M Pool. $30 for adults, $10 for children 10 and under. There will also be live entertainment.

Free live entertainment, food vendors, family activities and fireworks will happen at at Heritage Park, 350 S. Racetrack Rd. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the party starts at 7:30 p.m. At 9 p.m., people can watch the fireworks displays done by Lake Las Vegas (if you are out there – even better. They do a great job, and it’s beautiful to watch over the lake), M Resort, and Green Valley Ranch Hotel.
The Grandaddy: The Summerlin Patriotic Parade
If you want to really celebrate the Fourth of July in Las Vegas, it’s the Summerlin Patriotic Parade! It is one of the largest parades in the state of Nevada, an it is celebrating its 30 anniversary this year! The parade is free and open to all, but it gets VERY packed, so you can actually can set up your viewing area, and chairs, starting at 7 a.m. on July 3. The parade starts at 9 a.m. on July Fourth.
