Knights Advance, Aces Win Streak Ends
The Vegas Golden Knights beat Chicago 4-3 on Tuesday to win the Western Conference quarterfinal playoff series 4-1 and advance to the Western Conference semifinals. Alex Tuch scored the eventual game winning goal less than two minutes into the third period and the Knights held on for the win. Vegas overcame deficits of 2-1 and 3-2 in the game. The Knights now get to rest up a bit and will await the winner of the St. Louis/Vancouver series which is tied at two games apiece. The earliest the Knights will play again is next Tuesday. In the WNBA, the Las Vegas Aces seven game win streak came to an abrupt end as they lost 84-82 to Chicago on a layup by Azura Stevens with three seconds left. The Aces play Connecticut at 7pm on Thursday.
