Beyoncé And Jay-Z’s New Orleans Mansion Caught On Fire
A mansion that powerhouse couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z reportedly own in New Orleans has caught on fire.
TMZ reported that firefighters responded to a 1-alarm fire at the Spanish baroque mansion in the Garden District at approximately 6 p.m. Two hours later, the fire was fully extinguished.
Luckily, no one was injured and there are no reports saying whether Queen Bey, the rap mogul, their children or staff were home. Thankfully, the smoke alarm properly alerted the fire department. The cause of the fire, however, is currently unknown.
The extent of the damage is unclear but the 1-alarm fire caught ablaze enough that it took 22 firefighters to put it out.
The 3-story house features a main residence, 3 separate apartments, 26-foot ceilings and a green roof, per TMZ.
TMZ noted via Curbed New Orleans that Beyoncé and Jay-Z reportedly bought the spot back in 2015. The listed owner is Sugarcane Park LLC, whose mailing address is for Parkwood Entertainment, Bey’s management company.
