Team USA is ready to bring home the gold. And as we head into the Olympics, the sports world will be a little quiet. Let’s focus on the athletes that we have competing in Team USA men’s basketball. Team USA Revamped Their Roster To Compete
After a dismal World Cup showing in which they did not medal by using inferior talent led by very young NBA and college players. The team revamped its Roster with the Best NBA stars it could find. LeBron James, Steph Curry, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Anthony Edwards, Kevin Durant, and Anthony Davis now join the roster. Kevin Durant has an injured Calf and may not be available. Also noted Kawhi Leonard was injured and sent back home and replaced according to NBCLosAngeles.com.
With these stars alone, and even though some are older, it should be enough to get the USA the Gold. Team USA barely escaped a scrimmage game vs rookie NBA players and a High School kid named Cooper Flagg 74-73. Everyone should remember the name for he will be the #1 pick in next year’s NBA draft. Team Canada jumped out to an 11-1 lead on Team USA before they regrouped and ended up winning.
