Special Birthday Edition of Sandee Bonita’s Good Words!”
Every week, I set my tone and inspiration based on a song that I listen to on my way to work. I look forward to “Good Words” within the song lyrics to inspire my mood and bring my energy to life so that I can set the tone for my workweek. Music is beautiful and it amazes me how it genuinely inspires my life.
I woke up today to celebrate not only the beginning of a new workweek, but also a new year of life for me, as it’s my birthday today! I heard T.I. and Rihanna’s hit jam “Live Your Life.” Immediately I went to my radio to turn it up and mediate to the lyrics. I closed my eyes and as I sang to the song and I thought and evaluated what it really means to me to “live your life.” Those three words that make up the core of the song immediately were chosen as my “good words” for the week
Focusing on maintaining a life of purpose and consistently doing things and surrounding myself with people that add joy to my life is truly what “live your life” translates to me. The song also touches base on “steading chasing paper” and having “no time for the haters,” which I love! Again, lyrics are for you to find fitting to your life and to me it’s about not selling yourself short, focusing on your career, and not paying any mind to people involved in negativity.
