Aces Wrapping Up Season Today In Phoenix

The Las Vegas Aces are in action today, wrapping up their season on the road in Phoenix against the Mercury. It’s been a successful season for the Aces, who are in the playoffs and the results of today’s game will help determine their seeding. Vegas started off the season slowly and then began to jell. The Aces weathered a nine game absence by star forward A’ja Wilson due to a sprained ankle, going 6-3 in that time span. Vegas was in a position for a top two seed and a double bye into the playoffs, but hit a skid with a three game losing streak. Nevertheless, the Aces are firmly in the playoffs and will be looking to improve on their very good regular season performance. Let’s get ’em, ladies!
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director.
