Aces Win, Stay Alive In Playoffs
Down 2-0 and facing a playoff sweep, the Las Vegas Aces used the energy of playing in front of their home crowd at Mandalay Bay Events Center to throttle the Washington Mystics 92-75 yesterday. The Aces outscored Washington 56-38 over the middle two quarters and ensured that a game four will be played here in Vegas. Liz Cambage led the Aces with 28 points ans six rebounds and A’ja Wilson tallied 21 points and eight rebounds. Kayla McBride added 18 points and Kelsey Plum had a good all around floor game with nine points, nine assists, and seven rebounds. Vegas managed to bottle up Mystics guard Emma Meesseman, holding her to six points after her 30 point outburst in game two. Game four of the best of five series will be tomorrow at 6pm at Mandalay Bay Events Center. Playing in front of the hometown crowd obviously did the Aces a lot of good so the team needs your support tomorrow as they try to send the series back to Washington for a decisive game five.
