Knights Travel To San Jose For Rematch Tonight
The Vegas Golden Knights pretty much dominated their division rival San Jose in Wednesday’s nights season and home opener. The Kbights will try to make it two in a row over the Sharks tonight in San Jose. Vegas will be without defenseman Nate Schmidt, who suffered a “lower body injury” in Wednesday night’s game and is listed as “week to week” by Knights head coach Gerard Gallant. Schmidt missed a significant amount of early season games last year and Vegas struggled without him. San Jose will again be without forward Evander Kane, a favorite nemesis of the Knights’ Ryan Reaves. Puck drop for tonight’s game is 7:30pm. Vegas will return home to play Boston on Tuesday night at 7pm at T-Mobile Arena.
