Golden Knights Take Game One Against Chicago
The Vegas Golden Knights started slow but warmed up in the second and third periods to take game one of their Western Conference quarterfinal against Chicago, winning 4-1. Shea Theodore and William Carrier got Vegas on the board with a goal apiece in the second period and Reilly Smith put the icing on the cake with two goals in the third period. Robin Lehner got the start in goal for the Knights and made 19 saves against his former team. Game two is tomorrow in Edmonton at 2:30pm with game three on Saturday at 5pm.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
