Knights Take Two From San Jose

The Vegas Golden Knights swept a two game series from the Sharks in San Jose over the weekend, winning the first game on Friday night 5-4 in OT on Max Pacioretty’s game winning goal and blanking the Sharks 4-0 on Saturday night behind two goals from Alex Tuch and 24 saves from Marc-Andre Fleury. Vegas is on a six game winning streak and are in first place in the Western Division with a record of 16-4-1. The Knights have a busy schedule coming up as they open a two game series on the road against Minnesota tonight at 5pm with the second game of the series on Wednesday. Vegas then moves on to St. Louis for a two game series on Friday and Saturday.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
