Knights Hang On To Edge San Jose
After taking two games on the road against St. Louis last Friday and Saturday, the Vegas Golden Knights returned to home ice on Monday night and nipped San Jose 2-1 in front of a season high crowd of 3,473 at T-Mobile Arena. Marc-Andre Fleury, who avoided not being able to play in St. Louis due to a false positive Covid test, continued his superb play in goal for Vegas with with 23 saves including the game winning save as the clock wound down and the Sharks were desperately trying to tie the game. Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty each tallied a goal and an assist to pace the Knights, who remained in first place in the Western Division and notched their third win a row. The Knights play San Jose again at 7pm on Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena.
