Knights Dethrone Kings
The Vegas Golden Knights scored three goals in the second period and went on to top the L.A. Kings 4-1 at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas trailed 1-0 after one period but Reilly Smith scored in the second period on a power play to tie the score and teammates Tomas Nosek and Nicolas Hague each tallied a goal in the period. Alec Martinez finished the scoring with a third period goal for the Knights. Robin Lehner started in goal for Vegas and made 24 saves. The Knights play L.A. again on Wednesday at 7pm at T-Mobile.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
