Aces Win, Four Players Named To All Star Team
The Las Vegas Aces beat the L.A. Sparks 99-75 on Wednesday night in L.A. The Aces had six players in double figures, led by Jackie Young with 18 points, A’ja Wilson with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Liz Cambage with 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Aces will play at L.A. again on Friday night. As the WNBA approaches the halfway point of the season, four Aces players have been selected to play in the All-Star game which will be held on July 14 here in Las Vegas on the Aces’ home court, Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay. The All Star game will feature a team of WNBA all stars playing against members of the U.S. Olympic team who are all WNBA players. Liz Cambage and Dearica Hamby will be on the WNBA All Star squad while A’Ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray will represent the Aces on the Olympic team. Way to go ladies!
