Raiders Drop Preseason Finale
The Las Vegas Raiders lost their final preseason game 34-10 to San Francisco on Sunday in Santa Clara, CA. The Raiders played exclusively second and third stringers while the Niners played a lot of their starters in the first and second quarters before sending in the third stringers and bubble players. Raiders head coach Jon Gruden made it clear after the game that he didn’t want to risk injury to any of his star players. Vegas finished the preseason 2-1. The Raiders now have two weeks to prepare for their opening game of the regular season, a Monday Night tilt on Sept. 13 at Allegiant Stadium vs. Baltimore. The Raiders will make their final cuts to get down to the 53 man roster limit on Tuesday.
