Aces Win Home Finale, Solidify Playoff Position

The Las Vegas Aces won their home finale on Monday afternoon at Michelob Ultra Arena, beating Dallas 85-75 behind 30 points from Kelsey Plum. A’ja Wilson added 21 points and 12 rebounds for Vegas, which clinched no worse than a number three seed for the upcoming playoffs and have a two game lead for the number two seed with two games remaining.
The Aces play at Chicago on Friday at 7pm before closing out the regular season next Sunday at Phoenix at noon. Vegas can clinch the number two with a win in either of their final two games or a Minnesota loss.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
