Red Hot Knights Win Fifth In Row
Guess who’s back in first place? The Vegas Golden Knights that’s who. The Knights won their fifth game in a row on Sunday, beating the New York Islanders 4-3 in a shootout.
The win gave the Knights a sweep of their four game road trip and propelled them back into first place in the Pacific Division with a record of 20-11.
Nicolas Roy scored the game winning goal for Vegas in the shootout and goalie Robin Lehner stopped both shots he faced.
Vegas now returns home to open a three game homestand which’ll start on Tuesday with a game against defending NHL champion Tampa Bay. game time is 7pm at T-Mobile Arena.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
