Runnin’ Rebels Win Fourth In A Row
The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels men’s basketball team is on a hot streak, winning it’s fourth game in a row on Wednesday at the Thomas and Mack Center, beating the University of San Diego (not to be confused with San Diego State). The final score was 80-57 and UNLV has won each game of it’s streak by double figures.
Bryce Hamilton and Donovan Williams scored 20 points apiece and center Royce Hamm contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Rebels led 42-24 at halftime.
UNLV’s record stands at 8-5 and the team is off until its’ Mountain West conference opener on New Years Day at 1pm against San Diego State at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
