Caitlin Clark Does Not Want The Negative Energy
The moment has come Las Vegas. I’m talking about our two-time defending champion LV Aces vs Indiana Fever. The highly anticipated match-up between A’ja Wilson vs Caitlin Clark. Even though the matchup may seem lopsided due to the Fever being 1-5, it sure will bring out the stars and the crowd tonight. Vegas will be booming with a sellout crowd to watch the Caitlyn Clark show.
Caitlin Clark Don’t Want The Attention
Now I know many people may be tired of the Hoopla and Hype about Caitlin Clark, but she did not ask for this attention. She gets so much backlash from women of the WNBA and people around the world when all she wants to do is play ball. Being NCAA’s all-time leading scorer and 2-time assist leader, she earned all the attention but doesn’t deserve the negativity that comes with it.
All that needs to be understood is that she is just a young lady playing basketball and she never once said she was the G.O.A.T. or boasted about being the face of the “W”. She is garnering the attention of how LeBron entered the NBA and was immediately called upon to be the next Face to carry the league. She didn’t ask for this but as a rookie, she will go through ups and downs. Caitlin Clark is adjusting well and we should applaud the attention she has brought to the game and the impact she has financially made to the WNBA.
The Big Game
The Aces enter the game on the heels of a loss to the Phoenix Mercury. They are currently 12-point favorites to beat the Fever. According to Sportsbook Review, “It shouldn’t be legal for the league to schedule a matchup like this with such a rest disadvantage”. Rest or not, the Fever is clearly the weakest team against the two-time defending champions.

The Aces have an all-star roster and are probably the team to beat still in the WNBA. Wilson, Jackie Young, Kelcey Plum, and Alysha Clark are superstars in the league and will be a tough challenge for a young rebuilding Fever team.
The Young vs Clark matchup should live up to the hype and we all know A’ja is a double-double machine. Wilson could possibly win MVP of the league this season with her dominance. There should be a fun match-up at the Michelob Ultra Arena. I know the world would be watching. My prediction: Aces 88 Fever 73. Let’s Go Aces!

The Kobe 6 has become one of the most popular basketball shoes this year. Fellow Indiana pro basketball player, Caitlin Clark also wears these.
An interesting and fun Pacers fact here, is that with all the different uniform options a NBA team has now, only the Indiana Pacers have opted for a “playoff uniform” this year. Though it’s not a new design, the Pacers have worn their yellow “statement” edition uniform in every game of the postseason so far. Given that no team remaining has a yellow option in their set, this will likely continue as it can be worn for both home and away games.

As one of Jordan brand’s main NBA athletes, Tatum and his design team have done a great job of not making a ton of different sneaker model options. Instead, they have had dozens of different colorways of his “Tatum” shoes over recent years. For example, last week during game four, Tatum debuted the “Avocado Milkshake” colorway of the Tatum 2s. Tatum may not debut a new option during the series against the Pacers, but it is likely that he wears a different color for each game.

Like Tatum, Mavs star >Luka Dončić is also a Jordan guy. He too has his own model simply called the Jordan Luka 2s. So if both the Celtics and Mavs advance to the finals we will have a Jordan vs. Jordan superstar sneaker matchup containing the Jordan Tatum 2s vs. the Jordan Luka 2s. #77 seems to always write “Gabriela” with a heart on the sole of his sneakers. That is his baby daughters name.
Anthony Edwards - Adidas AE1
The player who has been perhaps unlike anyone else also stands alone in the sneaker category, Anthony Edwards, goes with a less flashy Adidas model appropriately called the “AE1.” Though they’ve worn two different styles, the Wolves have only worn white uniforms so far in the playoffs, allowing Edwards shoe choice to always pop, just like his game. It will be an interesting matchup now vs. the Mavs as both teams have similar colors navy-based colors.
