Red Hot Knights Win Seventh In Row
The Vegas Golden Knights delighted the home crowd on Monday night with a come from behind 3-2 shootout win over San Jose in front of almost 4,000 fans at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas trailed 2-0 in the second period before Mark Stone scored a power play goal. Stone tied the game with another power play goal in the third period and Alex Tuch tallied the game winner in the shootout. Goalie Robin Lehner turned away the three shots he faced in the shootout and finished with 29 saves. The Knights play San Jose again on Wednesday night at 6:30pm at T-Mobile Arena.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
