Aces In First Place
The Las Vegas Aces have won four games in a row and have moved into a first place tie with Seattle in the WNBA’s Western Conference. Both teams have identical records of 14-4. The Aces easily beat Atlanta on Sunday 118-95 behind 23 points from Kelsey Plum and 19 points and nine rebounds from A’ja Wilson. The Aces’ four game win streak includes an overtime win over Seattle. The Aces next game is against Phoenix on Wednesday at 7pm at Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
