Raiders Win Second Preseason Game
The Las Vegas Raiders won their second preseason game on Saturday, beating the L.A. Rams 17-16 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. The Raiders again played mostly non starters and second and third stringers. Nathan Peterman played the whole game at quarterback for Vegas, finishing 16-of-24 passing for 172 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and was the teams’ leading rusher with 35 yards on five carries. Marcel Ateman caught two passes for 45 yards including the scoring pass from Peterman. The Raiders will wrap up the preseason this Saturday at 1pm against the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Vegas opens the regular season at home in primetime at Allegiant Stadium with a Monday night game on Sept. 13 vs. Baltimore.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
