Sha’Carri Gets Smoked
Sha’Carri Richardson, suspended from running in the Olympics for smoking marijuana, returned to the track last Saturday in the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon to run in the 100 meter dash.
Sha’Carri was up against the three Jamaican girls who finished 1, 2, 3 in the Olympics…gold medalist Elaine Thompson-Herah, silver medalist Sherry-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and bronze medalist Shericka Jackson.
Amazingly, Sha’Carri got absolutely smoked, finishing dead last in a field of nine runners. The Jamaican girls again finished 1, 2, 3 with Thompson-Herah winning with a time of 10.54 seconds, the second fastest ever.
After the race, Richardson showed her usual bravado in a post race interview.
