Las Vegas Aces Are Making A Big Change

The Las Vegas Aces are looking to bring home a third championship but this time in new colors. The flashy red, black and gold has been transformed to silver. black, and white. This is going to take a while to get used to.

The two-time WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces have truly redefined Sin City to Win City. The pride of the valley has given us a reason to celebrate once again. Becoming the first WNBA team to win back-to-back titles in 21 years. According to fanarch.com, “The franchise was founded in 1997 as the Utah Starzz, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, before relocating to San Antonio, Texas, in 2003.” After a series of name changes, the team finally settled as the Las Vegas Aces in 2018.

Las Vegas Aces Changing Again

The Las Vegas Aces are certainly not privy to change. They have recently revealed their fresh new uniforms ahead of the highly anticipated 2024 WNBA season. With their status as the reigning back-to-back WNBA champions, the team boldly chose to depart from their traditional red and gold color scheme to silver, black, and white. This new look resembles the iconic colors of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders.

How The Team And Fans Feel About The New Change

The Las Vegas Aces have made the city proud to support them, but not everyone is celebrating this new change. The Champs will resemble the struggling Raiders. And even though the Raiders have three Superbowl rings, they haven’t proved much since their move to the desert.

Some fans feel that if anyone were to change their colors and present a new start it should’ve been the Raiders.

Mark Davis owns both the Raiders and the Aces and with this change, Aces players and fans are speaking out on social media.

According to USATODAY, “the Aces’ new uniform reveal had WNBA fans cracking the same jokes about Mark Davis and the Raiders.”

The conversation at the local barbershop I go to is that the Las Vegas Aces’ new uniform colors are dull and that the team’s owner, Mark Davis, wants the Aces to be the Raiders. The uniforms make the team look lifeless, and the old color scheme makes more sense. The Las Vegas Aces are still the two-time WNBA champions, and you may change their uniform colors, but it won’t change the dynasty!

It wouldn’t be a true football party with out drinks. Vegas’ hidden gem offered guests elevated bar service with freshly made cocktails, craft beers and well drinks.

We want our listeners to have the best experience so DA and Jammin’ 105.7 gave away tickets to upcoming concerts. Fans were given raffle tickets upon entry for the chance to win BIG.

During the commercial breaks, football fans were able to play on any of their 50 pinball machine games for FREE. Even though fans were watching football they had the chance to play on their CLASSIC Bubble Check Hockey game. Super fun!

Guests were able to purchase tables to get up close and personal with their game experience. That’s not all. Outside, the Jammin’ crew had a register-to-win giveaway to give lucky attendees an extra chance to win prizes. DA brought the fun atmosphere for a day to celebrate with friends and loved ones.
