Need Holiday Cash? Local Food Chain Is Hiring All Across Las Vegas
December is here and the holidays are right around the corner. Many of us often overextend ourselves this time of year buying too many gifts for too many people or simply go deeper into debt taking advantage of all of the “Black Friday” and “Holiday Deals“.
For many, it’s not even about buying Christmas presents but rather just providing the necessities of life and making ends meet. Face it, we could all use a little extra holiday cash.
Whatever your motivation, there are currently job opportunities throughout Las Vegas at Roberto’s Taco Shop which owns multiple locations across the valley.
According to their website, Roberto’s began as a family operated business in 1964 and continues to be family run, with 70 Roberto’s taco shops today. Roberto’s remains the pioneer in fast, traditional Mexican food with taco shops in California and Nevada.
Full disclosure, I eat there a lot. No seriously. Like, do you remember the 80’s TV show “Cheers” and how everyone would shout “Norm!” when he entered the bar!? Well, that’s me whenever I walk into Roberto’s. Their current deal on Wednesdays is their chicken tacos which they sell for only $1.59! I don’t know if it’s flattering or I should be embarrassed but it’s at a point now where when I walk into the restaurant, the cook will just raise his hand to verify whether I’m getting four or five before I even make it to the counter.
As a frequent guest of the shop, I couldn’t help notice the “Now Hiring” signs so I asked about it. Pedro who manages the shop at 8490 W. Desert Inn Road said, “We’re accepting applications and training at this location then sending employees out all over to other locations.”.
Now I don’t know what it would be like to work for them myself but I can tell you from the customer’s point of view that they have one of the most friendliest staffs who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and catered to.
