NBA Set To Vote On 22 Team Restart
The NBA Board of Governors is set to take a vote on restarting the NBA season with 22 teams. Tentative plans call for the season to restart on or around July 31 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando. The 22 teams would play eight games to determine playoff seeding and then playoff games would begin. The 22 teams are teams that have already qualified for a playoff spot or teams that are within six games of a playoff spot. Right now that would be 13 teams from the Western Conference and nine from the East. After the initial eight games for each team, playoff games would begin in August and the NBA Finals could stretch into October.
